In the last couple of years, I’ve become a pretty frequent podcast listener. Podcasts are particularly great, because they allow you to absorb an incredible amount of content, while doing other things at the same time. Unlike watching a YouTube video, where you have to focus all of your attention on the video, podcasts allow you to listen while doing other things like working, travelling, or working out. Since I run a SaaS business, I naturally gravitate toward podcasts related to my industry in the hopes of picking up valuable and useful tips from other successful people.

Here is my list of top 5 SaaS podcasts, in no particular order:

5. SaaStr – Jason Lemkin, Harry Stebbings

I don’t think this podcast needs any introduction. If you’re in SaaS, and haven’t heard of SaaStr or Jason Lemkin, then you’re in trouble. Harry, who’s an incredible host that really understands SaaS, interviews some of the biggest names in the industry, to discover tips, tactics and scaling strategies on business (it’s worth mentioning that Harry hosts another podcast called The Twenty Minute VC, which focuses on funding, that you should also check out). This SaaStr podcast should definitely be in your library!

4. The Startup Chat – Steli Efti & Hiten Shah

These two guys are true SaaS hustlers, and amazing content creators. I’ve been following them both for quite some time now. Hiten and Steli have grown very successful SaaS companies, and share unfiltered and actionable insights in these quick 10 minute episodes. Definitely worth adding to your playlist!

3. Founder Chats – Josh Pigford

Josh is well-known in the SaaS community as the founder of Baremetrics. I have a lot of admiration and respect for Josh, with how he’s grown his company, and for being one of the trailblazers in company transparency. His company is also fully remote, which I can personally relate to. In his podcast, he interviews other SaaS founders about how they run their business. A very laid-back and insightful listen!

2. Indie Hackers – Courtland Allen

It was a great experience being interviewed on Indie Hackers, as I’ve been a huge fan for years. This is one of the few podcasts that gives smaller, bootstrapped companies a platform to talk about how they started and grew their businesses. This is an incredible podcast if you’re looking to launch a new company and don’t know where to start, or if you just want to get inspiration from other bootstrapped founders. Courtland is an amazing and gracious host, who has built a very large and loyal “Indie Hackers” community. An awesome listen!

1. The Top Entrepreneurs in Money, Marketing, Business and Life – Nathan Latka

Nathan has quickly become one of my favourite SaaS entrepreneurs. I heard of Nathan after stumbling on this podcast, and I was instantly hooked. Probably one of the best interviewers around, Nathan speaks with other SaaS founders about their businesses and dives right into their numbers. He somehow manages to get his guests to open up and provide revenue details and other SaaS metrics that they probably wouldn’t otherwise give up. A must listen!

BONUS PODCAST

Founder Views – Kosta Panagoulias

That’s me! This podcast is unique, in that you’ll get insights from myself, who grew a SaaS company with no technical knowledge whatsoever, no money and no experience. Our company is 100% revenue-financed (haven’t taken a single dime from anywhere), and fully remote. In this podcast, I take you through my SaaS journey, talking about specific business situations I’m going through, thinking about, or just find interesting. I also respect the hustle and dedication that my audience has, so I squeeze in my thoughts in quick 4 to 12 minute episodes. A raw, and honest listen from a true bootstrapped founder!

If I missed any great SaaS podcasts, feel free to share them with me. Happy listening!
